Hint 2
Also known as the law of buoyancy.
Archimedes’ principle is the physical law of buoyancy, in that a floating body displaces a weight of fluid (gas or liquid) equal to its own weight. More specifically:
$$$weight\; of\;displaced\;fluid=weight\;of\;object\;in\;vacuum-weight\;of\;object\;in\;fluid$$$
Or,
$$$F_{bouyancy}=\rho \cdot g\cdot V$$$
where ρ denotes fluid density, V is volume of displaced fluid, and g is acceleration due to gravity.
