Describe Kirchhoff's Current & Voltage Laws.

Kirchhoff's laws are a foundation for solving circuit problems, and are also known as the Conservation of Charge and Conservation of Energy .
Kirchhoff's Current Law states that the sum of all currents flowing into a node is equivalent to the sum of all currents flowing out of the same node. In other words,
$$$\sum i_{in}=\sum i_{out}$$$
The current law can also be expressed as
$$$\sum_{n}i_{n}=0$$$
Kirchhoff's Voltage Law states that the voltage sum around a circuit loop is zero.
$$$\sum_{n}v_{n}=0$$$
where n counts the voltage components around the loop. The law can also be interpreted as the sum of voltage rises equals the sum of voltage drops around a loop.
$$$\sum v_{rise}=\sum v_{drop}$$$
